Registration Evening

Registration nights this season will be on Friday 24th Feb & Friday 2nd March, between 6-8pm at the Pavilion in the Park. We are holding them earlier than usual because we need to know what players we have for the coming season. Make sure you come along, talk to the team Captains & register

Race Night

Your new cricket club is holding their first fund raising event on Saturday 24th March at Melksham House. We are staging a race night, strarting 8pm sharp, which is a really fun way of raising plenty of money.

Tickets cost £3 and are available from Committee members.

Nets

Nets have been booked at The Oak School. They start on Sunday 26th Feb & continue each Sunday untill 2nd April. All sessions take place between 10am - 12pm

Training Nets have arrived - The club has taken delivery of their new training nets system. The club was given a grant by the Community First Foundation and has purchased a system which is portable and can be used both on and off the field.

Second sight screen - This season the club will have a new second sight screen purchased with funding from Melksham Town Council. The new screen is a portable screen allowing for the screen to be taken in after a game. With the remaining monies we refurbished the existing sight screen which has been repainted.

Grants Awarded The club is happy to announce they have been awarded Grants from Melksham Town Council, Community First, Sports England and Wiltshire Area Board. Look out for the brand new facilities & equipment to be installed in 2011.

CASC Status The club are pleased to announce we have now been awarded Community Amateur Sports Club status.

Volunteers or Helpers required Anyone wishing to help BMCC by becoming a Volunteer, Helper or be involved in the club, please contact us as we are always looking for people to help at any time for as long or as little as you can manage with areas like Youth session supervision, Cricket Teas preparation, Cricket Pavilion Maintenance/Cleaning, Grounds Maintenance and Wicket upkeep.

Sponsors - Melksham Tandoori have kindly agreed to sponsor our Adult XI Team for another season. Thank you for all your support.
